Bio

DJ, record producer and musician.
Born: February 16, 1967 (Moss Side, Manchester, UK)

In the late 1980s he began experimenting with tape editing and drum machines forming the Scratchbeat Masters (artist 1330830) before teaming up with artist 240327, a collaboration between a number of crews, Graham Massey and Martin Price with whom he then formed the 808 State.
In 1987 he launched his alias, A Guy Called Gerald.
In 1991 he started his own label Juice Box Records.
In 1998 the label closed and he relocating to New York. In early 2002 he returned to London and then moved to Berlin.
