Born, 26 September 1976
DJ Tapolsky is a Ukrainian drum-n-bass disc jockey. Place of residence - Kyiv. He has been playing since 1996.
Musical preferences: drum-n-bass in all its forms.
One of the most touring DJs in the country. He played in Belarus, Bulgaria, Russia, and Slovakia.
In Ukraine: Alushta, Dnipropetrovsk, Dniprodzerzhynsk, Donetsk, Yevpatoria, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Kremenchuk, Lviv, Mariupol, Marhanets, Mykolaiv, Nikopol, Odesa, Poltava, Rivne, Simferopol, Synelnykove, Sumy, Uman, Kharkiv, Cherkasy.
According to the results of the annual Dnipropetrovsk dance award — SubСтанция Dance Awards 99 — he was named Best DJ of the Year. At SDA 2000 he received the award For Contribution to Dance Culture. In the summer of 2005 he received a special award For Special Contribution to Drum-n-bass Culture at the TOPDJ ceremony (Kyiv).
From 1995 to 2002 he hosted his own radio shows on various Ukrainian radio stations.
Currently he hosts the weekly radio show Time 2 Bass on the most popular network radio station Kiss FM.
He is also involved in promotional activities; since 1997 he has organized more than 200 parties. Currently in Kyiv he runs the monthly drum-n-bass events Time 2 Bass featuring top international guests.
He is the owner of the only Ukrainian drum-n-bass label Фрагменты Звукозапись, which specializes in releasing music by DnB musicians and DJ mixes.
DJ Tapolsky regularly writes articles for the youth magazine X3M.
He is one of the moderators of the largest Ukrainian drum-n-bass forum www.junglist.com.ua
