Bio

Benjamin Miller works internationally as a sound engineer, mainly in the field of contemporary and experimental music. He collaborates with composers and artists for live performances, studio recordings as well as museal installations and has worked with institutions such as Ina GRM, Ircam, Mutech and the ZKM among others.
These collaborations provide a broad range of influences for his own artistic creation. His compositions explore complex sound textures, unstable rhythms and the fuzzy boundary between these two poles. He pursues his sonic exploration in acousmatic compositions as well as in live performances with fellow musicians. Spontaneity and improvisation are often a key element of his creative process.
