Anita Zabilevska

Latvian graphic designer and contemporary visual artist (b. 21 October 1963, Riga). Anita Zabilevska works across various mediums, including photography, video, found objects and site-specific installations. In 2008, she co-founded AZZZA Limited, a design studio and art platform, in collaboration with Paul Bizzell. Anita began her education in Riga, attending Janis Rozentals Art School (1975–82) and the Art Academy of Latvia (1984–90). She later quoted that the postgraduate studies at Central European University (1993) were particularly impactful and influential, truly invoking her artistic practice.
