Dan Johansson

Producer, technician, songwriter, guitarist, drummer, based in Majorna, Gothenburg.
He was born in 1964 and has played with Starfuckers, Marionet, Flink & Flugorna, Bad Liver, Mary Beats Jane, Transport League, Incka and William.
He produced records with artists such as Christina Kjellsson and Eva Borgström - whose new records Ökensand and Sju feta år were released 2013.
He is a multi-instrumentalist, with drums and guitar as a specialty.
He has worked extensively as a life technician, including at Musikens hus in Gothenburg.
In the late 90s, he started recording simple stuff and became friend with Nille Perned.

Dan Johansson started his career in Trollhättan playing in several bands during and ended up in Marionet together with Göran Florström, the vocalist he still works with in Generous Maria.
Generous Maria was formed in 1998, first without Dan Johansson. He produced their second demo, the first full-length album and played guitar. After a while Generous Maria got rid of the guitarist, and the bassist Jesper asked Dan if he wanted to join. The second album Electricism came in 2006, and Generous Maria released the third album 2012, titled III.
