Igor Amokian

Recording, releasing music and performing live for several years now, either solo or with various groups, Igor Amokian (or sometimes simply “Amokian”) brings his unique sounds to the party and studio. Amokian performs regularly with Wire Here w/ wife Karen, Skyline Electric, Machine Circuit & 3RD(i)Flying Objekt along with other occasional sit-ins here and there.

Blending elements of Dub, Breakcore, Hip-Hop, 8-bit to avant-garde. Igor Amokian has been using a mix of circuit bent devices acquired from some of the world's best circuit benders along with some his own creations and some other odd vintage electronic gear i.e record players, old drum machines and keyboards.

When Amokian is not recording music or performing he is buying, selling and making bent instruments and even has had a few of his works on display at local galleries and exhibits like Soundwalk in Long Beach and Soundwaves Heal Cancer in L.A.
