Bio

Daniel Vadestrid (born Daniel Ringström) is a Swedish ambient/downtempo producer and musician, as well as record company owner from Gothenburg, Sweden, b. Nov. 14 1976. He met Johannes Hedberg in 1991 aged 15, when the latter was transferred to Daniel Vadestrid's class (still under the name Daniel Ringström) and soon found out they shared the same taste in music, movies and video games. Together with Johannes Hedberg, they founded the downtempo/ambient duo Carbon Based Lifeforms in 1996. He is also the founder and owner of Leftfield Records.
