American composer and jazz pianist, born August 13, 1938 in Tiline, Kentucky; lived in Tyringe, Sweden. He passed away April 10, 2022.
Worked with Paul Bley and recorded as a leader in Copenhagen 1972., moved to Paris in 1973, recorded solo and with Steve Lacy 1974. Settled in Sweden in 1975, recorded with Anthony Braxton and again with Lacy.
