Enigmatic avant-garde collective with members hailing from The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Sweden, founded by Peter Johan Nijland a.k.a nOh v°v of Trepaneringsritualen and O Saala Sakraal. Their sound has evolved from atmospheric neofolk and black ambient on their eponymous album in the late 2000s, via experimental ceremonial EP "Nu", to a multifaceted species of sonic channeling that they have coined "ultra grotesque": A colossal and often esoteric amalgam of interacting influences ranging from black metal, art rock, improv, forest industrial and ritual ambient to 20th century avant-garde and textural composition that continuously escapes definitive classification with each track.
