Bio
Mass were formed from the ashes of Rema-Rema by Gary Asquith, Mick Allen, and Mark Cox. Recruiting Danny Briottet; the band recorded two releases, a 7": "You And I/Cabbage" in 1980 and a full-length: "Labour Of Love" in 1981. After this Mass split into two halves - Asquith and Briottet formed Renegade Soundwave, while Allen and Cox remained with 4AD for what would become their new project, The Wolfgang Press.
