Bio

English producer, engineer and remixer for mainly new-wave, synth-pop, goth rock bands like The Cure, The Sisters Of Mercy, Depeche Mode, Wire, The Human League and others.

Sometimes credited as Dave Allen, he shouldn't be confused with Dave Allen (5), member of Gang Of Four, Shriekback or Low Pop Suicide.

He is the son of Reg Allen, a professional footballer who played for Q.P.R. and Manchester United.
