Odd Machine

Odd Machine is an open-ended collaborative project, set by Tobias Freund with a plan to expand over time and include wide variety of musicians. For the first installment in 2007, he experimented with Ricardo Villalobos. For second release two years later, he enters the studio with Atom™ to create 2 tracks of abstract rhythmic expressionism. Each performer picks their machine: Uwe Schmidt went with Linn Electronics 9000, Linn LM-2 and Tenori-On, while Freund picked Roland TR-808.
