Bio

US soul singer. Born on February 3, 1943 in Fairfield, Alabama, USA. Died on February 1, 2018 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. Father of Issa Pointer (1978), his daughter with Ruth Pointer of the Pointer Sisters (they were married between 1980 and 1983). Most noted for being one of Motown act The Temptations' lead singers. His biggest hit is his duet with Siedah Garrett viz. Don't Look Any Further. He has also duetted with Thelma Houston for Why Do People Fall In Love.
