Ivo is best known for his vast creative contributions to Glitchmachines, where he is the Founder & CEO. Aside from managing Glitchmachines for the last sixteen years, Ivo has worked as a sound designer and content provider with some of the most notable creative audio companies in the Industry including Ableton, Native Instruments, Tiptop Audio, SoundMorph, Twisted Tools, Inear Display, Skywalker Sound, Soundsnap, Sinematic, Splice Sounds and Plugin Boutique to name just a few.

In 2006, Ivo became the first-ever recipient of the Game Audio Network Guild scholarship award and went on to earn his Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Audio Engineering from the Expression College for Digital Arts in California. He subsequently spent five years working with the SAE Institute of Technology in San Francisco, where he held several positions including Campus Director and Head of the Audio Technology program. He later worked with Pyramind in San Francisco before ultimately withdrawing from audio education to focus on Ivanov Sound and Glitchmachines.

Ivo has been producing electronic music since the early 90s and eventually cultivated a unique style that draws parallels between a multitude of genres and influences. In 2000, he toured the U.S. as the keyboard player for Reprise Records' Snake River Conspiracy, sharing the stage with several major label acts. He has also custom built circuit bent instruments for a number of accomplished sound designers and musicians. Following Ivo’s 2017 release on Detroit Underground Records, 2021 brought us four EP/Album releases created entirely on his modular system.
