Svartgalgh Records

Svartgalgh Records was Dutch record label founded in February of 2008 by Patrick Uiterweerd. The record label specialized in black metal, dark ambient, drone, noise, industrial and occult music and released music on limited edition and hand-numbered CD-Rs. Although Svartgalgh Records was successful in its field, Patrick had little time to dedicate to the company as he was also running several other record labels.

On August 4th of 2010 Patrick gifted Svartgalgh Records to his friend Dennis Schouwenburg for his birthday. Dennis was already the owner of Ziekte Records and Victory By Fire Records. He decided to merge Victory By Fire Records into Svartgalgh Records and operate Svartgalgh Records as a sub-label of Ziekte Records. A year later, after Dennis acquired several other record labels (including another of Patrick's companies Witte Dood Records), the bulk of his companies was restructured. In June of 2011, he merged all of his record labels, including Svartgalgh Records, into Victory By Fire Records and solely released music through that label from then on, until it's closure in May of 2012.
