Kagdila Records is the treasured child of label-head DJ Shu-Ki Golan. After a mutual agreement of partners to terminate his co-founded Majestical Records, Shu-ki reformed his approach and created Kagdila Records.

The name "Kagdila" dates back to the classic goa song Mahadeva by Astral projection. When Shu-ki first heard it he repeated along with the chanting of "Kagdila" instead of "Mahadeva". The name stuck around inside his head, reminding him of the euphoric feeling of hearing a classic for the first time.
