Clandestino Institut

Swedish network of cultural workers, artists and researchers in Gothenburg who, since the early 2000s, have been behind alternative education, art exhibitions and a number of other cultural projects.

One of Clandestino Institut's most notable projects is the Clandestino Festival, which has taken place annually since 2003. Other projects in the Institute's history include literary events, creative writing courses and publications.

The institute is run in the form of a non-profit association based in Gothenburg. The activities are mainly financed by public support from the Swedish Arts Council, the Västra Götaland Region's Cultural Committee, the City of Gothenburg and collaborations with a number of different venues and institutions in Sweden.
