Deadred Records

Slovak small independent label from Trenčín. Established in early 2000's.

Deadred Records focuses mainly on releasing quality contemporary slovak electronic music. Apart from releases by its core artists such as Nylon Union, Abuse (2) aka The Autumnist and Foolk, the label's catalogue include two compilations and an album by songwriter Karol Mikloš (often dubbed 'Morrissey from Slovakia' for apparent similarities between those two). Recently Deadred Records teamed with Czech distribution company-cum-record company Starcastic. The two-headed label's roster now includes names such as Prague-based leftfield pop outfit Sporto and Slovak alternative hip-hoppers Peťo Tázok & Karaoke Tundra. More releases by acts from both sides of former Czechoslovak border are sure to follow.
