Eblok

Until 2008 Eblok (Eastern Blok) was the premier distributor in Poland for most dance labels as well as for classical catalogues. The company was responsible for introducing labels such as Ministry of Sound, Defected, Soma, TVT, VP and thousands more. In January 2009 the company defaulted due the local retail chains losing value on the stock market. To save themselves, music departments were cut down by 80%. Dance music and electronica was the first to be cut out and Eblok along with it.
