Ripple is a record label located in San Ramon, California, United States of America - founded in 2010 by Todd Severin and John Rancik - specializing in retro-70's heavy rock, heavy psych, stoner, sludge and doom
Birthed from a successful music reviewing blog, The Ripple Effect (started in 2007), Ripple Music strives to bring to you "The Best Music You're Not Listening To."
In 2010, the company debuted its initial releases [m=605897] by artist 1346514, a re-issue of [m=447570] the 1972 early metal classic by artist 2595059, and [r=3899903] an album of dark, mysterious modern prog rock from Vancouver's artist 3695073. Ripple Music releases albums in vinyl, colored double vinyl, CD, and digital formats. Due to the high quality of Ripple Music's initial releases, the label garnered immediate national media attention.
Six years in and Ripple have made a name for themselves among the heavy underground - considered by some to be at the forefront of the modern wave of heavy rock.
