Slapart

Slapart is label based in New York. The purpose of Slapart is to support those arts practiced by a new generation of artists which create works that may (or may not) fall outside the realm of current commercial-aesthetic trends.

Slapart provides a home where artists can exhibit their wares and be influenced by other artists working within and outside of their own media/medium and genre(s). Formats are central to the slapart release philosophy. We believe that this new digital world is not so much comprised of artists participating in particular media as it is comprised of artists engaged in the exploitation of a particular format in which to display or frame their work.
