Western Breed Records

The Western Breed Records was an American independent punk/hardcore label established by Cedric Bixler-Zavala and Beto O'Rourke, co-founders of the Foss band. The label released a dozen of seven-inch records and cassettes between 1993 and 1998, including [r=3631674] split of Tü Edge (the band that featured Ben Rodriguez, who briefly played with ATDI in 1996–97, expelled mid-tour for bullying local artist and musician, Julio Venegas (1972—1996), to commit suicide), the sole [r=9335229] demo tape by Dregtones, another Cedric's early band with an artwork drawn by Venegas, and two debut At The Drive-In singles — [m=275267] and [m=333386] — and the posthumous [r=1342860] 7" split of Bixler's short-lived project, The Fall On Deaf Ears, which only recorded several songs before 17-year-old bassist Laura Beard and guitarist Sarah Reiser died in a car accident.
