Kingfisher Bluez

Kingfisher Bluez is a small-time DIY indie record label co-founded by Tim Clapp, and based in Vancouver, B.C. Canada.

Established in 2008 as a music blog, KFB has been pressing vinyl via contracting pressing plants since 2011, specializing in releasing small-run records by artists that share a like-minded experimental approach to making weird, warm, music. In the runouts, there is usually a quote from a book that is put there by the label without the knowledge of the artist. On Christmas releases, the quotes are often taken from movies. The books are chosen because they just happen to be what the owner of the label is reading at that time.

KFB are also promoters of indie nights.
