Hinterhof Produktionen

Hinterhof Produktionen is an independent record label from Düsseldorf, Germany, which emerged from the now defunct label Drumming Monkey Records and specialises in the genres of punk, rock and alternative. It sees itself first and foremost as a network of friends. These friends consist of musicians, artists, designers and other creative people.
The label's drive is a functioning community. A collective in which equality, co-determination and collective responsibility for the use of creative resources are in the foreground.

Artists and agency should perceive each other as equal partners who interact respectfully at all times as equals. Far from the typical clichés and business practices in the music and media industry, Hinterhof Produktionen should not be perceived as a pure service provider, but rather as a "fifth band member" in the administrative and operative position. The focus is on cooperation, not on the financial or egoistic interests of individuals. Thus, all steps of a project, from planning, budgeting, coordination, implementation to the final analysis, are always worked out and implemented together. Likewise, all participants share fairly and equally in the jointly generated profit.
