Third World Records (3)

Third World Records was originally founded in the year 2000; based in San Francisco, then went defunct for several years. Founders breathed new life into the project stating in 2024; now based in Los Angeles. Third World Records is a house music centered label that pulls from afro-latin, percussive, world music genres as source material, then works with a number of established and up and coming producers to release reworks "rebirths" of the source material. The reworks are typically in the form of House, Nudisco, Indie Dance, Downtempo, Rare Groove, Trip-Hop and LoFi. The label was founded by: David `Elan and is operated by: David `Elan and his wife Leah, together they also form the production duo Echo Systems.
