Label founded by the members of artist 246650 in 1973 to assume creative control over their recordings and gain control of manufacture and distribution.

After two studio albums they conceded control of certain aspects to label 288026 and closed the label operations by 1977.
Beginning in the late 80s, the imprint was restarted with catalog reissues distributed independently, as well as through Arista, and later Rhino in the USA, label 228088 amd Line Music GmbH In the UK and Germany respectively.
In later years, the label released archival concert recordings licensed through label 281794.
