Diaspora Recordings was founded in 2000 by Jeffrey Peacock and Asya Shein-Alexander. The label was not aligned to a single scene, and its catalogue reflects a range of work across house and adjacent forms.
Peven Everett, Lady Alma, Boo Williams, Rich Medina, Arnold Jarvis, 1050 East, Steal Vybe, Dan Curtin, Nicky Lawrence, and Directions all released on the label.
