After 25 years of Subject Detroit, DJ Bone released his final album called ‘FURTHER’. It was time for a new chapter, it’s time to take things FURTHER. With a focus on more forward thinking music, the label FURTHER has been in the plans for awhile.

Bone decided to kick off the new label FURTHER with a release from Yeti Mind Tricks titled ‘We Ain’t Like Them’, due to those words uttered throughout the track. He knew that this was more than a track: it was a raw and to-the-point description of himself and the entire FURTHER crew.

As with DJ Bone's previous label Subject Detroit, FURTHER will be operated as a non-profit entity, with all label profits directed to Homeless Homies.
