Canada’s first rave shop and major distributor of rave merchandise for Canada and the U.S. Located at the top of a graffiti covered stairway at 162 John Street in Toronto, right across what was Speakers Corner at the time at the MUCH Music building. Active from 1992 to 1996, X-STATIC sold mixtapes, record bags, event tickets, rave wear and videos. Was also involved in party promotion in their early years offered exclusive mix tapes from both local and international DJ’s. Opened a short lived second location in Vancouver in 1995.
