What You See Is What You Hear

What You See Is What You Hear is an editorial and curatorial platform created in line with the contemporary art magazine about sound VOLUME which now constitutes a collection made of six issues, released between 2010 and 2013. This platform means to continue to explore the richness of the connections existing between sound and visual arts until the margins, through editions (VOLUME special issues, books, catalogues, discs), events (performances, concerts, lectures, etc.) and exhibitions.

This website gathers together the current and past events organized as part of the activities of What You See Is What You Hear and also offers to purchase its different editions.

Distribution in bookstores assumed by Les presses du réel.

This platform is lead by Anne-Lou Vicente and Raphaël Brunel, both independent art critics and curators.

The artistic direction is ensured by David Benmussa, an independent graphic designer
