Vade Mecum

Vade Mecum, established by Jay Bliss as a sublabel of Stomping Grounds, serves as an outlet for deeper and more organic expressions within electronic music. Based in Bucharest, this imprint explores the deeper side of dance music, moving beyond the primary focus of its parent label. Vade Mecum is divided into two distinct series: a regular 12" format for deep house and techno, and a limited 10" series dedicated to the subgenre of dub techno. The name itself, Latin for "handbook," reflects the label's intention to curate timeless music that resonates with a lasting quality.
