• 1 Nonetheless, Despite All The Historical And Philosophical Warnings That Could Be Issued, Ordinary People Faced With Friends Or Loved Ones Joining An “Unusual” Group, Or Perhaps Contemplating Joining One Themselves, Need A Relatively Simple Way To Evaluate Just How Dangerous Or Harmless A Given Group Is Liable To Be, Without Either Subjecting Themselves To Its Power Or Judging It Solely On Theological Or Ideological Grounds (The Usual Method Used By Anti-cult Groups).
• 2 Eerie America Could Very Well Be Called The Fodor’s Travel Guidebook For The Addams Family. I Read Some In-depth Information About The Show And Saw The Promo, And From What I Can Tell, This Will Be An Absolutely Awesome Series If They Can Get It Off The Ground. (I'm Actually Praying They Will.) Let Others Know And See Who Can Help. This Is Something That Should Happen! Let's Pull Together And Make It So!
• 3 It Should Be Pointed Out That The Abcdef Is Founded Upon Both Modern Psychological Theories About Mental Health And Personal Growth, And My Many Years Of Participant Observation And Historical Research Into Minority Belief Systems. Those Who Believe That Relativism And Anarchy Are As Dangerous To Mental Health As Absolutism And Authoritarianism, Could (I Suppose) Count Groups With Total Scores Nearing Either Extreme (High Or Low) As Being Equally Hazardous. As Far As Dangers To Physical Well-being Are Concerned, However, Both Historical Records And Current Events Clearly Indicate The Direction In Which The Greatest Threats Lie. This Is Especially So Since The Low-scoring Groups Usually Seem To Have Survival And Growth Rates So Small That They Seldom Develop The Abilities To Commit Large Scale Atrocities Even Had They The Philosophical Or Political Inclinations To Do So.
• 4 I Feel More Weak During The Day Than During The Night. I Don't Know If It Happens With Some Of You Or If It Is Just Me. I've A Problem With Clarity And Sometimes I Really Feel Blind. It's A Awful Sensation. It's Hard To Explain. I Suffer Of Anxiety And Insomnias... I Don't Know If There Are Some Vampires Out There With The Same Problems.
• 5 Safe Bloodletting & Feeding - Things One Needs To Know In Order To Safely Draw Blood & Feed. Safe Feeding Practices, Important Labwork, Procedures, Bloodletting Devices, Etc.
• 6 He Feels So Bad But I Honestly Don't Think He Knows How To Control It, Besides Trying To Hang Out At Some Busy Places Like The Mall For Awhile Before I Come Home.
• 7 But Thank God I Didn't Get Caught Or I Would Have Been Expelled. I Punched Him For Dancing Around Saying, "Oh Come On Dracula, I've Got A Lot Of Blood, Right Here! Come On, Have A Sip!" I Need To Punch Him Again; Even Though He Cried The First Time He Still Doesn't Get It!
• 8 The Case And In This Century It Is No Different. This Is Why We Are Still On The Fringe And Continue To Let Hollywood Dictate What A Vampire Is. This Is Why The Rpgers Have Their Stupid "Houses" And Such. I Agree That Eventually We Must Come Out Of Hiding...And I Was Hoping It Would Be This Century...But Recent Events Have Shown Me Otherwise.
• 9 As For My Credentials — I Am Studying Ancient Semitic Philology, Oriental Archaeology And Sumerology (Yes, Professionally, At A University) And Am At The Moment Working On My Master's Thesis. It's About Demons, Spirits And Ghosts In The 3rd Millennium, So If I Find Anything To Refute My Current Claims, I'll Let You Know. The Quest For Knowledge Is Never Over. I Can Read Sumerian And Akkadian, As Well As Bible Hebrew And Ancient Hebrew And A Whole Bunch Of Other Dead Languages None Of You Have Ever Heard Of. So I Guess That Qualifies Me At Least A Bit.
• 10 The Script Was Old And Outdated, And There Was No Way To Update It Without Starting From Scratch And Paying An Arm And A Leg (Way Out Of My Budget!). I Had Customized It To The Point Where I Couldn't Add Other Addons Or Figure Out How To Remove Existing Ones. Plus, The Spambots Have Been Depositing Their Dung In The Pending Sites Queue For Years, Even After I Altered The Submission URL. It Just Got Too Much For Me To Maintain, And I Couldn't Do It.
• 11 Blood Feeder (Not Psi) Who Eats Meat But Not Vegetables, Fruits And/Or Grains
• 12 We’re All Aware There Are Predators And Opportunists Who Want To Capitalize On The Popularity Of Vampires; Using The Vampire Community As Their Personal One-stop Deli Counter Of Potential Victims. Actively Promoting A Cultural Set Of Values To Which Real Vampires Already Tend To Aspire Is The Strongest And Most Far-reaching Way To Undermine These Individuals. If It’s Widely Known That Real Vampires Promote Safe Behavior, Healthy Personal Growth, And Interactions Between Equally-powerful Individuals On A Level Social Playing Field, Then It's Far More Difficult For Predators, Abusers, And Opportunists To Effectively Pretend To Be Part Of Our Community, Or Worse, To Fool Others Into Following Them Based On The Merits Of Their Supposed Vampirism And Charming Charisma.
• 13 The Black Veil
• 14 The Primal, Instinctive, Animalistic, Bestial Nature Of A Frustrated Or Desperate Vampire, Where He Or She Gets Really Evil-minded And Aggressive And Wants To Just Go Berserk, Rip People And Things Apart For The Pure "Fun" Of It, And Feed Violently. It's Destructive And Cold, And If You Don't Control It, Then You Will Be Under Its Control. This Is Different From Just "Vamping Out" But That Is When It's Most Likely To Manifest.
• 15 Something That All Awakening Vampires Should Know Is That They Should Only Tell Those With An Open Mind. I Learned This The Hard Way. And They Also Need To Not Be Scared To Admit What They Are To Themselves. It's All Right To Talk To Really Close And Open Minded Friends About Awakening. I Did And Found Out One Of My Friends Was Awakening As Well And Two Other Ones Are Awakening Right Now. But They Should Only Tell Someone Whom They Trust And Who Is Open Minded.
• 16 It Doesn't Have To Be A Timeless Masterpiece Of Literature, But Please Do Check Your Spelling, Grammar And Punctuation! Include An Article Title And The Name You Want On The Byline, And We'll Get It Added To The Shelves. If You Submit Someone Else's Article, Please Be Sure It's Legal To Share, Copyright-wise
• 17 A Two-sided, Tri-fold Brochure In .doc Format With Information About The Site. This Is Suitable For Printing Out If Desired, And You May Do So And Distribute It As Long As Nothing Is Altered.
• 18 I'm Using An HTML Editor From 1997.
