Sergio Maglietta

Sergio Maglietta was born on November 21, 1957 in Naples, where he completed his studies sealed by various, brief and very brief university forays in different faculties: Architecture, Economics and Commerce and, finally, the DAMS in Bologna (Discipline delle Arti della Musica e dello Spettacolo, Disciplines of the Arts of Music and Performing Arts).
In 1980 he founded the alternative rock group Bisca.
Since then he has written more than two hundred texts for the band, in addition to some surreal and sarcastic short stories that he performs live on specially created musical bases, creating an unusual cabaret sketch in the group's show.
In 1995 he published the short story Appunti di viaggio in the book È odio moveso da amore (ed. Zelig) on ​​the experience of the supergroup Bisca99Posse of which he was the animator.
In 2001 he released Il Cielo Basso, an album of poems set to music in which La Lavatrice e il Generale stands out, a bold parallel between the household appliance and the dictator Pinochet.
