Spittle Records

Cult Italian label with 2 lifespans, based in Firenze (aka Florence). First, it briefly existed from 1984 to 1988, run by Simone Fringuelli and Massimo Currò. It released darkwave, EBM and experimental music, mostly on limited edition vinyl. In 2005, "it was restarted with the purpose of filing and reissuing most of the Italian 1980's rock scene. Some of the labels reissued on Spittle Records are Electric Eye Records, Contempo Records and Italian Records". During its second lease of life Spittle has reissued its classic releases on CD as well as a few compilations from Electric Eye and new material from Italian punk, new wave, no-wave, gothic scene and international experimental music.
