Digital Dance

Belgian new wave band from Brussels. Formed in July 1978 by Jerry WX (Chainsaw, X-Pulsion, The Revenge, Two Tracks, X-Pulsion) and Stephan Barbery (Thrills, Marine, Snowy Red, Instead Of, Ink.), and also featuring Jean-Marc Lederman (Fad Gadget, Kid Montana, The Weathermen, Jules Et Jim), Alain Lefevre (Marine, The Durutti Column, Anna Domino, Blaine L. Reininger), Michel Silverstein (The Names, Noh Mask, Kid Montana), TVIC (Isabelle et Les Nic-Nacs, Instead Of) and Phil Wauquaire (Fad Gadget, Kid Montana). The band designed most of their artwork, stickers, badges, packs of matches, flyers, brochures and posters themselves, and also published the Digital Magazine, at first initiated by Philippe Van Crombrugge (aka Crom, founder of the first Brussels punk fanzine Zip Vynils). Digital Dance first came to a halt in 1982 but never really ceased existing.
