Bio
Belgian punk guitarist. Born in Paris (Xe), France, on 11 or 14 September 1956. Died in Brussels, Belgium, on 9 or 12 July 2000 after a serious illness.
Jerry WX aka Jerry Wanker started out with Chainsaw (the first punk band in Brussels and the French speaking part of Belgium) together with Micky Mike. After only one 7" Chainsaw called it quits and Jerry moved on for a short stint in X-Pulsion with the Klang-brothers (one split 7" with Streets). He also ran a zine named Design.
His next step was away from punk into new wave, with Digital Dance, together with Streets keyboard player Jean-Marc Lederman (one half of Weathermen). After Digital Dance he went into different side projects, e.g. with ex-Digital Dancers Stephan Barbery and TVIC.
He finally found his ultimate love in the garage rock band The Revenge. In 1989, he was live musician with à;GRUMH... on their world tour, and he also played on stage with Etat Brut. Like his former partner in crime Micky Mike he also went into production and session work for many Belgian bands, until his death in 2000.
