Bio

Egor Gerasenko (born March 4, 2003 in Pyt-Yakh) is a Belarusian–Ukrainian experimental electronic musician, producer, and designer, also known as Yahor Hierasienka-Dziejkun (Belarusian spelling). He is currently based in Surgut, Russia.

He is the creative force behind several interconnected aliases, each exploring different facets of electronic music:
- Madcap Laughs (qu1) (2022-2024): Dark ambient, lo-fi, industrial noise, and a raw, autobiographical diary of isolation and mental health struggles.
- qu12 (2024-2025): A project focused on chiptune, computer materialism, and the aesthetics of retro hardware and system errors.
- Qulicker (2024-2025): An alias for aggressive breakcore, acid techno, and experimental club music, including collaborations with British artist Xiroach.
- qumcl (2024-present): His main and most mature project, blending IDM, atmospheric jungle, glitch, and weirdcore into a cinematic, conceptual sound.

In 2024, together with Xiroach, he co-founded the label Xeuqra, focusing on weirdcore, glitch, IDM, and experimental electronics. In 2026, he launched q-rec as a sub-label under the Xeuqra umbrella.
