Short-lived California label founded by Jerry Garcia and artist 2828421, guitarist/vocalist and manager respectively of artist 246650.
Formed in 1973 to release solo material by Garcia and other projects related to artist 246650, apart from several live albums, most of the releases were recorded at either label 356228, owned by artist 259912, or label 325589, owned by artist 290364, also members of artist 246650.
The label ceased operating in 1976 when artist 2828421 absconded with several hundred thousand dollars, also causing Grateful Dead Records to stop trading as a fully independent unit.
